Meridian Line

Would you pay £10 to see a line? Ok, not just any line; it’s the world-famous meridian line. Visitors to Meridian Line at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, are to be charged for the first time in 10 years.

The Prime Meridian is the meridian (line of longitude) at which the longitude is defined to be 0°.

The Royal Observatory is famous as the source of the Prime Meridian line that divides the East from the West (longitude 0° 0′ 0”), making it the official starting point for each new day and year.

According to BBC, from 8 March adults must buy £10 tickets, valid for a year, although children will not be charged.

If you are nearby from Singapore all the way, guess you will probably buy the ticket.
